𝐃𝐢𝐝 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐤𝐧𝐨𝐰... that ANY student in ANY Char-Em ISD school district can attend ANY Career and Technical Education program, in ANY district? That makes the reach of Char-Em's high school CTE programs even greater! More than 80 percent of high school students in our ISD take at least one CTE class - an extremely high percentage compared to peers across the state. With the variety offered through 23 distinct programs taught in more than 50 classrooms throughout the ISD, there is something for every student to try their hand and find a passion in vocational education! On May 5, 2026, voters will be asked once again to consider a 1.0 Career and Technical Education millage that funds these programs and many, many more spanning kindergarten through 12th grade. 🌳Free Trees for CAB Students! 🌳 Concord Academy Boyne has partnered with the Crooked Tree District Library and Neighborhood Forest to give students a free tree to plant for Earth Day. 📅 Register by March 15 On Earth Day, a guest will visit CAB for a special activity and read-aloud, and registered students will receive their tree to take home and plant. Congratulations to February Artists of the Month! Since we are in our second semester, we have a ton of great art that was selected.
How are the pieces nominated? To be fair, every month a different teacher selects the winner and Ms. DeMaagd selects the honorable mention.
All Artist of the Month winners for this school year will be exhibited at the Crooked Tree Arts Center Youth Art Competition in Petoskey. More notes going home on this soon!
