Parents: Please check the Documents section of the app to see a letter from the Health Department. We have one positive case of whooping cough within our school community, and the letter provides information regarding precautions. The student has not been in school for over a week at this time.

Miss Smith's Kindergarten class learned about the importance of voting! We did a silly mock voting activity, where the kiddos casted their vote on their preference of… - Cheeseburger vs. Hot Dog - Milkshake vs. Ice cream cone - Donut vs. Cake - Fries vs. Onion Rings We had so much fun doing this & practicing our right to vote!

The Graphic Design class has already accomplished so much this semester! We've worked on everything from image manipulation to logos, SM posts, slide presentations, calendars and most recently book cover designs. We also created logo images for the Crooked Tree Arts Center New Years 2025 art competition. Go CAB Art!

Our 6-8 grade science classes recently completed an exciting analogy project where they took something they know and turned it into a model of a cell! Each student chose a familiar system—like a zoo, farm, or even the White House—and used it to represent cell organelles and their functions. By creatively comparing the structures and responsibilities within their chosen system to parts of a cell, they gained a deeper understanding of cell biology and showcased their incredible creativity. The results were impressive, and the students did an amazing job making the invisible world of cells come alive!

On Friday, Miss Raymond's class celebrated the finish of their month long essay assignment with a "Coffee Hour". The afternoon consisted of a transformed classroom to emulate a "poetry slam" at a coffee house. Student enjoyed Hot Cocoa and Popcorn while listening to their peers' papers! Large thank you to the Boyne City Starbucks for their donation to make this experience even greater!
