Good Morning CAB Families!
Winter is here, and I just wanted to take a minute to make you aware of our outdoor recess policy. Please make sure that your child has all of the gear: hat, mittens or gloves, snow pants, boots, and a winter jacket for outside recess. We take kids outside as long as the "feels like" temperature is 5 or above. If it is less that that, we'll keep them in.
Students are welcome to keep items here and bring them home on weekends, or transport them daily, that's up to you. If a student is missing snow pants, for example, we'll still have them go outside, but they'll stay on the black top so they don't get wet.
As far as outside is concerned, we remind students there is no throwing snowballs, no going in the woods, no playing with sticks (unless making arms for a snowman), and that we want to be safe if we sled.
If you are in need of any winter clothing for your child, please check our Winter Clothes Rack in the foyer, there may be something in the right size! We take donations for that all winter long as well!
